DIY Gold Butterfly Mirror
So, I was searching high and low for an affordable, cute gold butterfly mirror for my room and I was so annoyed. Everything that was coming up was over $100! ANDDD there were even some that were $800. I was shooketh. There is no way I would pay that much so obviously, I figured out a way to DIY it for much, much less, like for $12. Check out my easy DIY guide below to make your own DIY Gold Butterfly Mirror.
DIY Gold Butterfly Mirror Supplies
I already had a mirror on my closet door so I didn’t need to purchase one. But if you need one, check out local thrift stores, garage sells or FB marketplace.
- Mirror – Any size, or shape. I already had one but here is one on Amazon: Amazon Mirror. I think mine originally came from Home Depot
- Gold Butterflies – I got 2 packs to cover my mirror fully. There are tons of fun options.
- Glue dots – The packs I got came with their own glue dots but if the design you got didn’t, get some. You can also use hot glue if you prefer.
That’s it!
Assemble Your Mirror
Literally so easy. All you need to do is add the glue dots to the back of the butterflies and then press the butterfly into the mirror. Do this all around the border of the mirror. Add as many butterflies to your liking. Seriously, there is no way to do this wrong. I feel like Bob Ross.
