I have broken down the best Kylie lipkits for redheads by Kylie Cosmetics. I feel like redheads have been in the minority when it comes to makeup. Almost every product is for brunettes, blondes or black hair. And I get it. Why would you make a product that only markets to 2% of the population. Well 1%, since half of those are males. Then if you take kids, elderly and people who don’t wear make-up or don’t wear your brand, you are left with like, 3 people. I minored in marketing so I know what I’m talking about.

It has taken a lot of trial and error to figure out exactly what works for my skin tone and hair. I didn’t have eyebrows until like 2014.

This was me lip-less and eyebrow-less in 2012. Ew.

But I will save eyebrows for another day. Today is Kylie Cosmetics. I love love love love her products. And I’m not just saying that because I am a fan of Kylie, but I truly love the formula. I have tried drug store, Jeffree Star, Kat Von D, Tarte, blah blah blah. I do like Colourpop and I’ll make a post about them another day. BUT I swear guyz, it’s good. Girl knows what she is doing. So I’ve broken down the best Kylie lipkits for redheads!

Before I buy a new lip kit by Kylie Cosmetics I always search the color on Google or Pinterest. I recommend doing this for any product. You can find someone with a similar skin tone to you, a normal person with no extreme photo retouching and then you can make an executive decision. You know how different some of these lipsticks look on me vs my own sister?? And we BE BLOOD. She’s not a redhead but still. I defiantly don’t look like Kylie that’s for sure.

Let’s get started. Please disregard my lazy eye. I take these in the morning before work when I look fresh-faced, but I am still tired so my lazy eye comes out.

Kylie Lipkits for Redheads: Mattes

I love, love, love Kylie’s matte formula. And I am aware that I am in the minority when it comes to this. I wear mattes almost every day. If you are someone who is sensitive to dry lips or you MUST put chapstick on 24/7, mattes might not be for you, I suggest the velvets. Personally, I am so used to it at this point and I love how they last all day long without reapplying anything. I can tell a huge difference in Kylie’s mattes from when they first launched until now. She really did vastly improve the formula. So if you had some from her first year, and thought they were too drying, I recommend trying it out again! I love it!

Kylie Lipkits for Redheads: Velvets

Next, Velvets! I don’t own as many velvets as I do mattes. Most people prefer the velvety texture but for me, I love it matte to my lips. The velvets stay on nicely but not all day like the mattes do. My favorite color: Savage is a velvet so I do wear them quite often. But if I know I need all day wear or I’m going out to eat, I stick to the mattes.
