Tips for Dublin, Ireland:
Some tips for when you visit Dublin!
- Currency– Euros
- Transportation – Dublin has plenty of bus options for getting around the city center. If you want to leave the city to explore more there are trains. For more info check out this site: HERE. We rented a car to drive around the country and I can’t recommend it more. It’s not that bad to drive on the other side! I was nervous at first but we quickly got the hang of it.
- Weather – Honestly, I checked the weather app every day and every day it was wrong. We went in May and it was drizzling on and off, a bit misty and super sunny all in one day. I always carried an umbrella or a jacket with a hood, just in case.
- Pick Pockets – Just like any other city, just be careful, watch your stuff and don’t be dumb.
- Party City– Dublin is a huge party city. There are constant Hen/ Bachelorette/ Bachelor parties. The Temple Bar area is LOUD.
- Days in Dublin – Don’t spend all your time in Dublin, the rest of the country is like, 10x better. 2 days was PLENTY.
Alrighty people. That rounds out my extensive list of what you should eat, see and dooooo when you Visit Dublin, Ireland. If you enjoyed by blog on what to visit in Dublin, I highly recommend checking out some of my others Ireland blog on Galway and The Dingle Peninsula.
