This is my city people! I currently reside in Long Beach and I am Mc’Lovin it.

Moving from a small ass town to a city was such a culture shock but then I took a look around and realized how many food options there are down here. So, that’s when I realized, ok, this place isn’t bad. Also, I love the fact that it is one of the most diverse cities in the world!! I hope I can encourage you all to visit Long Beach. Or if you are already visiting Long Beach, here is a list of everything to eat, see, do and stay! Snoop Dogg is from here so need I say more?

What to Do in Long Beach:

There is a lot to do when you visit Long Beach. Tons of activities and shopping streets. Or if you are more of a “stroll along the beach” kind of person, you can do that too.

Activities

  • Aquarium of the Pacific – Great for kids and in the evening, when it’s less busy.
  • Long Beach Museum of Art – If you are like, into art and being cultured and what not.
  • The Queen Mary – There are always ton of events happening here, especially in the summer. Check out the website. I recommend visiting the ship and doing a ghost tour as well! SPOOOOKY
  • CSULB – If you are here to tour the school or you are visiting someone who goes to the school, walk around the campus and check out the pyramid. Other than that, unless you are super into college campuses (weirdo), then feel free to skip. You can drive by and check out the pyramid though, it’s pretty cool!

  • Long Beach Exchange/ The Hanger – Another cool spot with food and boutiques.
  • Signal Hill – Hike to the top of Signal Hill for amazing views. Watch the sunset!
  • Beach – the water isn’t the best here, I suggest if you want to swim, go to a different beach. But if you just want to lay out, totally fine.
