Visit Sydney, Australia
So you want to visit Sydney, Australia? Australia, the birth land of the Hemsworth brothers. Where Mary-Kate & Ashley were in the Witness Protection Program. The home to da cutest, wittle, fluffy koalas.

I did some mad research about Australia so you don’t gotta do shiiiittttt. You’re welcome. Below are all my recommendations for Sydney! Sydney is a must see when going to Australia, obviously. Plus I noticed it’s cheaper to fly in and out of Sydney.
Language: English with an Australian twist, mate
Currency: Australian dollars
Where to Eat in Sydney, Australia
While in Australia, I looked up places that either had seafood, Asian influence, or were highly recommended. So my recommendations below pretty much revolve around that. And brunch. Australia has the BEST coffee. So we took researching that seriously too.
- Macchiato: great for any meal. We went here for dinner and it was DELISH
- The Concrete Jungle: FAAAABBB brunch spot

- Spice Alley:Â An entire alley way with about 15 different Asian cuisines. Just know, that you will have a very difficult time deciding what to get.
- Handpicked Wines Wine tasting! Great place with fantastic Australian wines.
- Ramen Zundo: In World Tower, if you like ramen…
- Aqua S:Â Yummy froyo. I still follow Aqua S on Insta because their flavors are so interesting.
- The Barvarian:Â Great for a beer with your mate
- ChaTime:Â Always on the search for that good good BOBA!
What to Do in Sydney, Australia
- Hyde Park– Gorg park. We mainly walked through this park because it was hot AF and it had shade.
- Surry Hills area– I think if I were to live in Sydney, I would pick this area. I loved the vibe.
- St. Mary’s Cathedral– Pretty cathedral
- Handpicked Wines– Great place we found for wine tasting!
- Circular Quay– Quay is pronounced Key. Great area to see the bridge, opera house, art museum and such. Good starting point.
- Taronga Zoo– I love zoos. I particularly loved this zoo.

- World Square– Good place to visit for some shopping and good places to eat
- Queen Victoria Building– shooooopppping
- Climbing the Sydney Harbor Bridge – A MUST DO. If you do your research you will see the pros and cons of climbing the bridge. Most of the cons are the cost. But I truly believe it is worth the MONIES. Yolo my people. And if someone tells you the climb is hard, they are wrong or weak or 100 years old. I will say that I was a little sore after, but we did it on our very last day in AUS and my body could have possibly been at its limit. Or I’m weak. idk.

- Opera House – We didn’t go inside or do a tour. We considered it, but thought the outside was just as cool. Plus, according to my research, the best part of the theater is the main theater and that room is NOT included on the tour. SOOOOO we just walked around the outside.
- The Rocks– A lot of people recommended this area for cool shops and restaurants. Now, yes this area was nice but to go as far and say it was cool? Nah. Very touristy. Overpriced food and shops. I would go to Surry Hills over this place if you are pressed for time. If not, walk around both!
- Sydney Botanical Gardens– if you like nature n things.

Where to Stay in Sydney, Australia
- Airbnb: in the Chippendale area. Not kidding about the area name. I would stay in the area solely because how close it was to Spice Alley (see above).
- We also stayed in this cute little hotel: Hyde Park Inn. I highly recommend this place because location, location, location ANDDD because they had snacks in the room.
- Surry Hills area
- Near Quay/ Harbor bridge area
Tips for Sydney, Australia
- Don’t forget that their summer is November – February. So if you are planning a trip over Christmas break, don’t pack your boots and puffy jackets. Pack yoooo bikiniiiiii
- They drive AND walk on the other side of the street. So pay attention when you are crossing the road. Just look both ways at least 6 times before stepping into the road just to be extra safe.
- Everyone is super nice and kind
- There is a hole in the O-zone so you might get sunburned WAY faster. I wore SPF everyday.
- Try local foods and coffee!
- The guys are hot
